Soft as Rocks is an art studio on Little River in Gloucester, MA. Laura Rooney (that's me) wields the paintbrush/sponge/fork/squeegee.
I got my start in the art world with a box of pasta and a piece of string (think macaroni necklace) circa 1987. Things really got going at Skidmore College where I studied Studio Art as an undergraduate. I concentrated in painting and ceramics, though these days I focus almost exclusively on painting.
In addition to taking a peek at what the studio has to offer, bookmark our tumblr blog, where I share what helps keep my thoughts creative.
